Welcome to norislaw.com, owned and managed by NORIS LAW JOINT STOCK COMPANY ("NORIS"). By accessing and using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope and services provided

• norislaw.com is NORIS's official website for information about our services, professional insights and client enquiries.
• Website content is provided for general information only. A client engagement with NORIS is established only when:
  • The parties enter into a written service contract or service agreement; or
  • For hourly consultations, the client completes the booking and payment and NORIS confirms the appointment.

2. Conditions of service

2.1. Services for specific matters

• For services relating to a specific matter, the scope of work, timeframe, fees, payment method and the parties' rights and obligations are set out in the service contract or service agreement between NORIS and the client.
• If a service description on the website differs from the service contract or service agreement, the signed document prevails.

2.2. Hourly consultations

Clients book consultations using the process published on the website at the time of booking.

NORIS confirms an appointment only after the client has completed payment as instructed.

Rescheduling a consultation

• Clients may request to reschedule their appointment once. Rescheduling is subject to NORIS's working hours and availability at the time of the request.
• NORIS does not guarantee that an alternative time matching the client's preference will be available.

Cancellation and refunds

• To cancel, clients must send a request from the email address used for the booking to NORIS atinfo@norislaw.com, using the following format:

  Email subject: REQUEST TO CANCEL CONSULTATION

  Message:

  "Please cancel my consultation booking with the following details:

  • Full name:
  • Booking reference:
  • Reason for cancellation:

  Refund account details (if eligible under NORIS's Terms and Conditions):

  • Account holder's name:
  • Account number:
  • Bank:

  I confirm that the above information is accurate and agree that any refund will be processed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions currently published on NORIS's website.

• The cancellation notice period is measured from NORIS's receipt of the cancellation email to the confirmed start time of the consultation.

The following refund rates apply:

• More than 72 hours before the consultation: 100% of the consultation fee paid;
• From 24 to 72 hours before the consultation: 50% of the consultation fee paid;
• Within 24 hours before the consultation, or where the client does not attend the confirmed appointment: no refund.

Refund processing time

• NORIS processes eligible refunds within 15 to 30 working days after confirming that the request is valid and receiving all necessary information from the client.
• The time taken for funds to appear in the client's account may depend on the bank's or payment intermediary's processing procedures.
• Please note: NORIS makes refunds only to a bank account in the name of the person who booked the consultation. If the receiving account is in another person's name, NORIS may require verification documents or decline to process the refund until the information has been fully verified.

3. NORIS's rights and responsibilities

• NORIS may change, update or temporarily suspend website content, features or design without prior notice.
• Articles, news, documents and other website content provide general information as at the date of publication. They do not constitute legal advice or a commitment in relation to any particular matter.
• NORIS is not liable for losses arising from your independent application of general website information without obtaining direct advice from NORIS.
• NORIS does not promise or guarantee an outcome that depends on decisions by state authorities or third parties, or on factors beyond NORIS's control.

4. Users' rights and obligations

• You may browse the website, read its content and contact NORIS to request services.
• When requesting advice or using services, you must provide truthful, complete and accurate information and documents and are responsible for the content supplied.
• NORIS is not liable for consequences arising from incomplete or inaccurate information or the concealment of relevant information.
• You must not use the website for unlawful purposes, interfere with or damage its systems, gain unauthorised access or otherwise disrupt its operation.

5. Intellectual property rights

• All website content, including but not limited to text, images, logos, designs, professional articles and other materials, is owned by NORIS or lawfully used by NORIS.
• Copying, modifying, distributing or using content for commercial purposes without NORIS's prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
• For non-commercial quotations, you must clearly acknowledge the source: "According to norislaw.com".

6. Dispute resolution

• Any dispute arising from or relating to use of the website or NORIS's services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation and mediation.
• If the parties cannot resolve the dispute themselves, it shall be submitted to the competent court in Ho Chi Minh City for resolution under Vietnamese law.

7. Changes to these Terms

• NORIS may amend, supplement or update these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in its operations or legal requirements.
• Changes shall be published on norislaw.com and take effect upon publication unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of the website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated provisions.
